Australian Country  |  27.6
Our travels begin in Victoria where we joined hatted chef Jung Eun Chae at the micro restaurant she has created in her home in Cockatoo on Melbourne’s periphery. A bit further afield at Woodend in the Macedon Ranges, we visited a former TV producer and her partner who have restored a cottage and transported a Melbourne dance studio to create a home and B&B on their property. We’ve a garden feature from Manjimup in Western Australia’s Southern Forests region and a profile on a Christmas tree farm at Tamworth in the NSW north-east. Our travel feature is a road trip through south-west Queensland with stops to soak in the waters of the Great Artesian Basin, fossick for opal and walk in the tracks of dinosaurs. Plus, there’s a story about a restored homestead in Cunnamulla. The issue is also packed with design and decorating inspiration.
