From $2.23 per issue
Since lockdown, there has been a huge growth in the number of people getting into camping, the outdoors and enjoying an off-grid lifestyle. More and more, as a society we want to get away. Away from the relentlessness of a working life that has increasingly invaded our homes; away from the tyranny of always-on electronics and ever-watchful social media; away from the pressure to be busy, to be productive, to be available.

When your every waking hour is spent feeling hunted, just disappearing into the countryside for the weekend is a blessed relief. And if you’re in a 4x4, you can disappear further away and deeper into it. Overlander 4x4 reflects Britain’s new-found interest in an outdoor lifestyle.

We’re not a magazine about camping, but a magazine about the sort of adventures that involve it. Primarily, we focus on overlanding – showcasing both trip-of-a-lifetime expeditions as well as adventures that are more modest and, for most of us, more attainable. As always with anything four-wheel drive, it’s going to be a journey worth making, so join us for the adventure.

Overlander 4X4

June 2025 Summer is coming! So, the June issue of Overlander 4x4 brings you 10 step-by-step green lane routes across England and Wales to help you make the best of the long days and that glorious British countryside! Isuzu unveils the latest demo truck to wear the Basecamp badge, Land Rover launches a new awards scheme for charities and KGM turns the epic-value Rexton into and epic-value van. We celebrate alongside GLASS in their huge victory for freedom now they’ve successfully prevented the illegal closure of the iconic Swan and Limers Rake in Derbyshire. Sexy curves and subtle bling highlight our product reviews this month, before we introduce you to seven highly modified concept off-road vehicles unveiled by Jeep, and meet a long-wheelbase 1977 Land Cruiser that was brought back to life with the help of some legendary Series parts. We round off another packed issue with an extreme adventure out to prove that great things really do come in small packages and sees an unlikely vehicle become the highest car in the world right now!
